What Is The Best Diet Plan To Lose Weight?

Well, I don’t really suggest a certain food plan as a best option for everybody. To recommend one specific food plan as the best diet plan to lose weight is tricky as there are lots of good diet schemes out there and I can’t really say there is one best diet plan that fits for all. To create the highest probability for each individual to lose weight successfully, each person who decides to go on diet must be comfortable with that diet plan.

Opt for healthy meals, but keep it doable

Meaning, choose what you think is the best diet plan for yourself taking into account all your personal circumstances. Yes, we all should aim to eat totally healthy, only unprocessed organic food, freshly prepared, mostly raw, only good carbs and fats etc., but in a busy world that is not always possible. If you are a full-time working mom having to feed your family, you are taking short cuts. At least I do!

The healthiest diet doesn’t help if you can’t follow it

If you have to choose between on the one side a 100% healthy diet that you can’t follow and on the other side a 80% healthy diet that you feel you could make it work maybe, what would you do? What is the best diet to lose weight now? The 100% healthy diet might not necessarily be the better option in this case. Important is that you can make that diet work and then you can gradually move towards eating more and more healthy foods.

But you need to eat better and reduce portion size

I don’t expect anyone to eat a perfectly clean and a 100% healthy diet, but if you want to lose weight you will need to move towards healthier food and probably towards smaller portion sizes. When I lost 20 pounds, I didn’t follow a specific diet plan, I simply ate less carbs (especially reducing bread plus eating no sweets) and replaced them with fruit and vegetables while overall eating less. For me this was the best diet to lose weight! Admittedly, this is not really a sophisticated eating plan, but the simpler and the fewer the changes that you need to implement, the higher the chances that you will stick with them.

Start with replacing your worst food options

For the above reasons my Diet on Autopilot Course does not supply a specific eating plan, but you do get recipes. And this is just to give you an idea about what you could your worst meals replace with. Also, each recipe lists the calories from each ingredient, so you can see where the calories are coming from and where you would end up calorie-wise if you took slightly different ingredients or simply a bit more or less of something.

What is the best diet plan to lose weight? One that YOU can stick to!

To summarize, if you need a diet plan or meal plan, go with a concept that you like and that is doable in your situation. Otherwise, just some changes in your eating habits can go a long way if applied consistently. Either way, a meal plan does only tell you WHAT you need to do to lose weight, HOW to actually implement these changes is quite another story.
